Dr. Gustavo Antonio Montejo Rosas

FOUNDER

Anesthesiologist and Palliative Care Physician, founder of the FMMP in 1992, as well as its President for 24 years. He participated in the installation of the first Palliative Care Unit at the Guadalajara Civil Hospital. Speaker at multiple national and international Palliative Care seminars. He has a Masters in Palliative Care from the Alberta University in Canada. He actively participated in forums for the adoption of the Law on Palliative Care Rights approved in December 2014 and published in the Official Journal of the Federation. Professor at the University of Guadalajara in various subjects in the medical field.

Gregorio Reyes Sánchez

President

Architect from the University of Guadalajara, he has a Diploma in Management from ITESO. Businessman, director of "The King of Chocolate Pastry Shop" which produces and sells cakes. Participates as a volunteer with terminally ill in the foundation (FMMP) and independently at the Shelter "Friends of Juanita and Fernando".

María Teresa Rangel Córdova

Vice President

Private accountant and works in real estate sales. Completed studies for the Certificate in Medicine and Palliative Care with Dr. Montejo in FMMP, and various Palliative Care volunteer courses, and she has participated in various Palliative Care conferences.

Ma. de los Ángeles Nuño Arias

Secretary

Businesswoman, degree in marketing and finance. Homeopathic doctor and alternate flowers practitioner. Reiki system therapist. She has a diploma as a Healing Touch Therapist.

Susana Medina Mora Cravioto

Treasurer

Bachelors in Actuary Science from UNAM, Masters in Communications from ITESO, Certificates in International Trade (ITESM) and Investment Projects from OAS-UAG. Member of the Assembly of the French College Albert Camus for 25 uninterrupted years, serving as President, Secretary and others. Professor of the subject "Statistics" at ITESO and at Anahuac University, CDMX for a short time. She has carried out professional activities in market research, international marketing and computer science, and Palliative Care courses.

Ana Bertha González

Board Member

Painter, photographer and lessor of real estate. Dedicated to inner growth and helping those most in need. Completed studies for the Certificate in Medicine and Palliative Care with Dr. Montejo in FMMP, and various Palliative Care volunteer courses, and she has participated in various Palliative Care conferences.

Regina Elizabeth Cano

Board Member

Family Medicine physician from the United States. During her medical training in Cincinnati, Ohio she worked with the interdisciplinary Palliative Care team at The Christ Hospital and developed a rotation in Palliative Care at the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine. She participated in the VIII Latin American Congress of Palliative Care in Mexico City in April 2016. She has been board member of the FMMP since 2016.

Martha Coppelia Velez Hernández

Médico y anestesióloga por la UNAM con especialidad en manejo del dolor y cuidados paliativos así como especialista en psicoanálisis. Ha desempeñado diversos cargos en direcciones y jefaturas dentro de dependencias de salud, como la Cruz Roja y Centro Médico Puerta de Hierro. Profesora, coordinadora y coautora de múltiples textos dentro del área de salud, así como miembro de distintos organismos dedicados al estudio del dolor. Actualmente médico paliativista en Palliavite S.A. de C.V.

Esmeralda del Carmen Ramírez Delgado

Psicóloga y tanatóloga, especializada dentro del área de cuidados paliativos, intervención en crisis y primeros auxilios psicológicos. Con experiencia como docente y coordinadora de especialidades de: Intervención en crisis y primeros auxilios psicológicos, así como en tanatología. Así como psicóloga clínica y tanatóloga en Palliavite S.A de C.V.

Hartwig Stein

Board Member

Trabajador social licenciado en pedagogía social por la universidad de Tuebingen y maestro en educación por la Academia Profesional de Sttutgart. Ha trabajado para diferentes universidades, desempeñando diversos cargos en coordinación, docencia y asesoría, entre ellas la Universidad de Guadalajara, el Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey, la Universidad de Chicago y actualmente en la Universidad Panamericana. Ejerce como Trabajador Social en cuidados paliativos en Palliavite S.A de C.V.

Uriel Emilio Pérez Gallegos

Médico egresado de la Facultad de medicina de la UDG, con un Diplomado en Recaudación de Fondos por la AFP (Association of Fundraising Professionals) y un Diplomado en Fortalecimiento de Capacidades Directivas para OSC por Fondo Unido México/United Way. Coordinador del colectivo «Cuidados Paliativos, Trabajo de Todos», en la ciudad de Guadalajara, Jalisco.
